My name is Emily and I am the mommy of an amazing little boy named Oliver. He is almost 2 and full of spunk. His dad is still semi-involved juggling his priorities of his family or his friends. Unfortunately I made the mistake of having a child with a child, someone five years younger than me and I am now paying the price. Yes, he is around more than some dads, but he is also around a lot less than most. It is hard being a semi-single mom I think even harder than being just a plain and simple single mom because in my scenario you still have someone waiting in the sidelines with their input on how your kid's life should be run, even though they are hardly in it. I must comply though because I want Oliver to have somewhat of a relationship with his dad, even if its not storybook. Ever since Ollie was born I have been struggling financially and had to move back home. It is hard being an adult and living with your parents and I do not wish it upon anyone.
